Meet Kanan, Breathwork Facilitator in Miami

About

Meet Kanan

During my teenage years, I developed chronic sinusitis, a condition that persisted for more than 20 years while I explored a range of allopathic and naturopathic approaches. On a trip to India before college, I was introduced to the idea that emotional life and the way we experience the body can feel connected. That perspective became part of my personal exploration, but I do not view breathwork as medical treatment. Some approaches brought temporary relief or difficult side effects, and I continued searching for supportive wellness practices. In 2023, I encountered two modalities that felt meaningful in my own experience:

These experiences gave me a sustained sense of support and connection and encouraged me to keep learning about the relationship between breath, awareness, and personal reflection.

Dimensional Breathwork came into my life during a challenging period in March 2023, when I felt drawn to a virtual session facilitated by Andrew Genovese. The experience prompted me to explore the practice more deeply. I completed my Dimensional Breathwork certification with Andrew in Washington state in February 2024 and am also certified in Reiki I. My approach is informed by years of meditation and pranayama, along with a professional background spanning social enterprise, energy markets, and technology. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Bryn Mawr College and a master’s degree in International Energy Policy from Columbia University. Today, I guide private, couples, group, retreat, online, and corporate breathwork experiences in Miami.

Through the breath and by setting a powerful energetic container, I lead people back to their own heart. Dimensional Breathwork is so powerful because it goes against everything we have been led to believe, namely that the love and wholeness we’re searching for exists outside of ourselves. While breathwork has many proven benefits, I especially love how it helps each of us tap into our own divinity and realize how powerful we truly are.
